David Patten, CFA has six years of management consulting experience and nine years of investment banking experience. Within investment banking, his focus was equity and debt capital raising for large-cap industrial companies. Additionally, he worked on IPOs within the consumer products / retail industry. His focus within management consulting includes strategic planning and financial modeling for cash flow positive, private equity-owned companies within the industrial, technology and business service industries. Additionally, he has provided growth strategy and consumer insights consulting services to several Fortune 500 and middle market companies.
David holds an MBA from UCLA and an AB, Cum Laude, from Princeton University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Christine Smalley brings deep expertise in strategic marketing from over 18 years of creating and building businesses. She works with Fortune 500 clients and SMBs to better understand their markets and customers to build lasting growth strategies. Christine developed and launched Target Corporation’s in-store clinic operations, an industry-changing model of consumer-centric healthcare delivery. Christine oversaw major healthcare purchasing decisions including establishing an EMR, billing system and medical staffing. She also leveraged Target’s vast databases to better understand shopping behaviors and build promotional strategies to optimize store traffic. As a strategy consultant with Accenture, she worked with leading healthcare and other consumer industries to launch new products, create and test new business ideas, and develop stronger connections with consumers.

Lisa Ezrol Curran, CFA is an experienced management consultant with over 20 years of experience developing growth strategies for and creating new revenue lines at wide range of technology and financial services organizations. She is a sought-after business advisor with a track-record of developing strategies that result in solid, profit-generating solutions for the most complex business challenges. She is also the co-founder of FinTEx Chicago, a non-profit member driven organization seeking to expand Chicago’s role as a center of financial technology innovation. Previously, Ms. Curran was the Director of Strategic Planning at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange where she led the team responsible for formulating the overall corporate strategy for the Exchange. She has held strategy and advanced technology positions at institutions such as Citigroup, JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers and Lotus Development Corporation.
Ms. Curran is a CFA charterholder with an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Todd Ruddick leverages over a decade of experience across large corporations and early stage businesses to finding solutions that benefit clients. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies on implementing large scale pricing strategies that have returned over $50 million in additional revenue and led to improvements in their sales channel approach. On the other end of the spectrum, he has worked with start-ups in defining initial pricing and how that fits into their overall launch strategy. He has also worked extensively on revenue management and using dynamic pricing as an approach to better manage variable demand when supply is relatively fixed.
Todd holds a BSE in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, an SM in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA with a focus on Operations Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
